Biography

William V Mong was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. V Mong kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "A Fool There Was" (1922), "Barriers Burned Away" (1924) and the comedy "Oh, Doctor!" (1924) with Reginald Denny. Biography

William V Mong was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. V Mong kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "A Fool There Was" (1922), "Barriers Burned Away" (1924) and the comedy "Oh, Doctor!" (1924) with Reginald Denny. He also appeared in "The People vs. Nancy Preston" (1925), "Fifth Avenue" (1926) and the comedy "The Strong Man" (1926) with Harry Langdon. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties, appearing in the William Haines comedy "The Girl Said No" (1930), "The Flood" (1931) and "Bad Company" (1931). He also appeared in the Carole Lombard drama "No More Orchids" (1932). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "The Narrow Corner" (1933) with Douglas Fairbanks Jr., "Treasure Island" (1934) and "Massacre" (1934) with Richard Barthelmess. He also appeared in the drama "Dark Hazard" (1934) with Edward G Robinson and "Whispering Smith Speaks" (1935). V Mong last acted in the Leslie Howard comedy "Stand-In" (1937). V Mong passed away in December 1940 at the age of 65.
