Synopsis
A cub reporter investigating a murder of a fortune hunting nightclub dancer becomes a suspect in the case. He works with the chief of detectives to determine who killed the dancer, whom he had interviewed only hours before her death. Another murder victim is the deceased's lover, who had divorced his wife because of his relationship with the dancer. Also suspected of the murders are the deceased man's jealous ex-wife, the dancer's business manager and a former suitor. Although someone confesses to the murders, the reporter disbelieves him and proves that he confessed to protect the ex-wife. He then reveals the identity of the true murderer.
