Synopsis

Eve de Montalais plans to smuggle her jewels into the United States. On her ship are a gang of thieves, among whom are Liane Delorme and her companion, Phinuit, who plan to steal the jewels. Michael Lanyard, alias The Lone Wolf, upsets the scheming of Popinot, and Eve seeks his aid in getting the gems past customs officials. At a New York nightclub, Liane informs Eve that Lanyard is The Lone Wolf. Whitaker Monk assumes the role of a customs officer and induces Eve to turn over the jewels, and she escapes upon discovering the deception. Lanyard is overpowered by the crooks but manages to free himself and declares the jewels to customs officials, who then summarily arrest the thieves. Eve is relieved to find that Lanyard is a Secret Service agent, and the lovers are reunited.
