Clarissa Selwynne was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Selwynne began her acting career appearing in various films, such as "Black Oxen" (1924), "Mademoiselle Midnight" (1924) and "The Dangerous Flirt" (1924). She also appeared in "The Last Man on Earth" (1924) with Earle Foxe. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the western "The Lucky Horseshoe" (1925) with Tom Mix, "The Fate of a Flirt" (1926) and "Naughty But Nice" (1927). In the latter half of her career, she continued to act in "Glorious Betsy" (1928), the Ronald Colman adaptation "Cynara" (1932) and "My Pal, the King" (1932). Selwynne last acted in the dramatic adaptation "Jane Eyre" (1934) with Virginia Bruce. Selwynne passed away in June 1948 at the age of 62.
