Synopsis
Disgusted with his lazy son Burt, the wealthy Randall Ridgeway throws him out of the house. Incognito, Burt finds work at his father's lumber camp but falls easy prey to the foreman, Bully Bill, who beats him up when he sees him flirting with Patta Heberton, whom Bill loves. Burt vows revenge, and following weeks of exercise, he wins a fight with Bill, after which they become fast friends. Burt then learns that camp boss Mac Heberton, Patta's uncle, has been embezzling camp funds. With Bill's help, Burt gets Mac to confess and then brings Patta home to his father. Randall welcomes his "new" son, toughened and disciplined from the lumber camp, and enthusiastically consents to his marrying Patta.
