Synopsis

Tom Foster, the foreman of the Hunt ranch, assumes charge of the property upon the death of its owner, taking also into his care Eleanor Hunt, a beautiful young girl. Though in love with the girl, Tom is too diffident to propose, and she is taken to Europe by her aunt. Eleanor returns 2 years later with European airs and accompanied by Denman, her European fiancé. Tom has much improved the ranch in the interim, but Eleanor seems to be intent on marrying Denman. Tom's pal, Mack, tells Tom about the rakish exploits of Don Juan, hoping thereby to instill in him a bit of romance. Tom is kidnaped by Denman's hirelings and, knocked on the head, dreams that he is the fabled Juan, fighting like a lion for love. He awakens, frees himself from his bonds, and rides like a madman to the ranch. He arrives in time to prevent the wedding, and he marries Eleanor himself.
