Synopsis

Wealthy Paul Harrington marries chorus girl Evelyn Todd after she is fired from her job and evicted from her apartment. Paul's uncle, a judge, tries to buy Evelyn off when he meets her because he associates her with a scandalous party he attended at the home of the rakish Guy Emory. (Emory spilled a drink on Evelyn and tried to seduce her while her clothes were drying.) Eventually, the judge realizes his mistake and withdraws his offer.
