Biography
George Nichols was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Nichols kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the William S Hart western "The Silent Man" (1917), "Battling Jane" (1918) and "The Fox" (1921). He also appeared in "The Queen of Sheba" (1921) and "One Glorious Day" (1922). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the twenties, appearing in "The Flirt" (1922), "The Extra Girl" (1923) and "The Eagle" (1925). He also appeared in "Broken Hearts of Hollywood" (1926) and "Gigolo" (1926). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Sea Horses" (1926), "SeƱor Daredevil" (1926) and "Finger Prints" (1927). He also appeared in the historical drama "The Wedding March" (1928) with Erich von Stroheim. Nichols more recently acted in "Sakura Killers" (1987) with Chuck Connors.
