Synopsis

Becoming an outlaw to avenge his father's death, the bandit known as The Orphan joins forces with Sheriff Jim Shields to fend off an Indian attack. After saving the sheriff's life, The Orphan rescues the lawman's niece Helen Shields when her stagecoach is attacked by Indians. Meanwhile, the sheriff's friendship with The Orphan earns him the enmity of the ranchers, forcing a confrontation between rancher Tex Willard, head of the Bar 8 Ranch, and Shields. Recognizing Willard as the man who killed his father, The Orphan finally exacts his revenge in a gun duel. His anger thus purged, The Orphan settles down to a more peaceful life with Helen.
