Biography
Gladden James was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. James's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Social Secretary" (1916), "Yes or No" (1920) and "Footfalls" (1921). He also appeared in "Channing of the Northwest" (1922). He continued to act in productions like "The Adorable Cheat" (1928), "The Girl He Didn't Buy" (1928) and "His Captive Woman" (1929). He also appeared in "The Peacock Fan" (1929). In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "Weary River" (1929), "Bad Company" (1931) and "Lucky Devils" (1933). James last acted in "The Princess Comes Across" (1936) with Carole Lombard. James passed away in August 1948 at the age of 60.
