Synopsis

Her father's death leaves Glory Moore impoverished, so she moves to New York to stay with Mrs. Lawrence, an aunt she hardly knows. Gloria's new guardian is really part of a gang of crooks, and she convinces her naïve niece to assist her and her cronies by playing the role of decoy. Then, after the gang has lured the wealthy and unsuspecting Jim Danvers into a crooked card game, Glory falls in love with the victim and so reveals the gang's plan to him. Later, the gang members start to argue among themselves, and one of them, Harvey Dix, kills another, Milt Bannon, and then tries to blame the murder on Jim. Glory gets Harvey to confess, however, by convincing him that she loves him, after which Glory marries Jim, the man she really loves.
