Biography
Hugh Thompson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "The Great Defender" (Fox, 1994-95). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Looking For Miracles" (Disney, 1988-89) and "Fight For Justice: The Nancy Conn Story" (NBC, 1995-96). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in the drama "Society's Child" (2001) with Margot Kidder. He also starred in the TV movies "Mistrial" (HBO, 1996-97) and "Recipe For Revenge" (The Movie Channel, 1998-99). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal" (1996-2001). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Haven" (Syfy, 2009-2015). He also was featured in the TV movies "Our Fathers" (Showtime, 2004-05) and "Tripping Wire" (Lifetime, 2005-06). Thompson acted in films like "Whole New Thing" (2007) with Callum Keith Rennie and the dramatic adaptation "Snow Angels" (2008) with Kate Beckinsale. Most recently, Thompson appeared in "The Book Of Negroes" (2014-15).
