A former actor--he played Abraham Lincoln in "The Birth of a Nation" (1915)--Henabery turned to directing in 1916, working with such stars as 'Fatty' Arbuckle and Rudolph Valentino. By 1930, he had relocated to Brooklyn, NY, where he helmed comedy and mystery shorts for Vitagraph. During WWII through to his 1957 retirement, Henabery directed US Army training films and documentaries....
