Synopsis

New Yorker Robert Kendall visits a pearl fishery he has inherited on Papeete in the South Seas to investigate rumors of mismanagement and pearl theft, and there he meets Rita Durand, a French girl, her father, and Perrier, a suave Frenchman. Perrier and Nilsson, an employee of the fishery, find a valuable pearl and attempt to hide it from Durand, but he forces them to turn it over to him. Nilsson stabs Durand, steals the pearl, and tries to blame Kendall for Durand's death. Nilsson and Perrier shoot Kendall, leaving him for dead, but he follows them to Rita's house, shoots Nilsson, and, rescuing Rita, kills Perrier in a fistic struggle.
