Biography

Cliff Clark was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Clark appeared in such films as "Mountain Music" (1937) with Bob Burns, the action movie "The Daredevil Drivers" (1938) with Beverly Roberts and "Kentucky" (1938) with Loretta Young. He also appeared in "Time Out For Murder" (1938), "Mr. Moto's Gamble" (1938) with Peter Lorre and "They Made Me a Criminal" (1939). He continued to act in productions like "Wagon Train" (1940), "Three Cheers For the Irish" (1940) and the action film "Manpower" (1941) with Edward G Robinson. He also appeared in the Ronald Reagan crime picture "Nine Lives Are Not Enough" (1941). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Bury Me Dead" (1947), the George Brent mystery "The Corpse Came C.O.D." (1947) and the John Garfield crime adaptation "Force of Evil" (1948). He also appeared in the crime feature "Raw Deal" (1948) with Dennis O'Keefe and the drama "Deep Waters" (1948) with Dana Andrews. Clark more recently acted in the Dan Dailey biopic "The Pride of St. Louis" (1952). Clark passed away in February 1953 at the age of 64.
