Biography

Nana Bryant was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Bryant's earliest roles were in film, including the adaptation "The King Steps Out" (1936) with Grace Moore, the comedy "Theodora Goes Wild" (1936) with Irene Dunne and the Bing Crosby musical "Pennies From Heaven" (1936). Biography

Nana Bryant was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Bryant's earliest roles were in film, including the adaptation "The King Steps Out" (1936) with Grace Moore, the comedy "Theodora Goes Wild" (1936) with Irene Dunne and the Bing Crosby musical "Pennies From Heaven" (1936). She also appeared in "The Lone Wolf Returns" (1936), "Counsel for Crime" (1937) and "Let's Get Married" (1937). She continued to act in productions like "If I Had My Way" (1940), "Thieves Fall Out" (1941) and the dramatic adventure "The Corsican Brothers" (1941) with Douglas Fairbanks Jr.. She also appeared in the comedy adaptation "Nice Girl?" (1941) with Deanna Durbin. In the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in the comedic adaptation "The Perfect Marriage" (1947) with Loretta Young, "Possessed" (1947) and "Her Husband's Affairs" (1947) with Lucille Ball. She also appeared in "Inner Sanctum" (1948) and the Roy Rogers western "Eyes of Texas" (1948). Bryant last acted in "The Private War of Major Benson" (1955). Bryant passed away in December 1955 at the age of 67.
