He also appeared in "City Streets" (1931). He also appeared in "Wine, Women, and Song" (1933). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Tango" (1936), the Andy Clyde comedy "Red Lights Ahead" (1937) and the sports comedy "Million Dollar Legs" (1939) with Betty Grable. Kemp last wrote the Jane Russell musical "The French Line" (1954). Kemp passed away in December 1999 at the age of 92.
