Biography
Eric Barker was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Raising the Wind" (1961), the Hardy Kruger comedy "Bachelor of Hearts" (1962) and "The Fast Lady" (1962). He also appeared in the Peter Sellers comedy "Heavens Above!" (1963). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the Frankie Howerd comedy sequel "The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery" (1966), the spy picture "Maroc 7" (1967) with Cyd Charisse and the comedy adaptation "Doctor in Clover" (1967) with Leslie Phillips. He also appeared in "Twinky" (1970) and the Peter Sellers comedic adaptation "There's a Girl in My Soup" (1970). Barker was most recently credited in the comedy "Dentist in the Chair" (2007) with Bob Monkhouse. Barker passed away in June 1990 at the age of 78.
