Synopsis
Colonel J. J. Proudfoot, manager of Proudfoot Chemical Industries, is furious over the diminishing sales of his new toothpaste, "Dreem." Advertising executive Duff secures from his cousin, the dean of King Alfred's Dental College, the services of two recent graduates, David Cookson and Brian Dexter, to promote the sale of "Dreem." With the assistance of ex-convict Sam Field, a dental mechanic, they give free treatment to pretty factory girls, but the outraged Proudfoot threatens them with dismissal. The boys create "New Dreem," a dentifrice superior to its predecessor, which their employer thinks is a fraud. Spurred on by Jill Venner, the "Dreem" girl, Cookson poses as a U. S. senator and infiltrates a missile-launching site. He slips a tape recorded jingle advertising "New Dreem" into the satellite to replace a recorded message from the president, and the satellite is launched into a 7-year orbit. The toothpaste receives unprecedented publicity, and the colonel, delighted with its free promotion, promotes Cookson and Dexter.
