Biography
Donald Reed was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Reed's earliest roles were in film, including "Naughty But Nice" (1927), the western "The Texan" (1930) with Gary Cooper and "Aloha" (1931). He also appeared in "The Racing Strain" (1932). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "The Man From Monterey" (1933), "Happy Landing" (1934) and the western "Cyclone Ranger" (1935) with Bill Cody. He also appeared in "Six Gun Justice" (1935). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "The Devil Is a Woman" (1935), "The Vanishing Riders" (1935) with Bill Cody and "Batmen of Africa" (1936). Reed more recently acted in "Under Strange Flags" (1937). Reed passed away in February 1973 at the age of 72.
