Synopsis

Cuddles Magrue, daughter of a cabdriver, has a taste for luxury that worries her father. After a gin party Cuddles marries Jack Hemingway, a wealthy lounge lizard, and they move into the Ritz. In the morning Jack's father disinherits him. Jack becomes involved with some jewel thieves, and he accepts the hospitality of Joe Mack, a known crook. Cuddles is unwittingly implicated in a theft and is sent to jail. There she gives birth to a son, which is taken from her; and the marriage is annulled. Released, she returns home on the night of her former husband's second marriage; distraught, she commits suicide.
