Biography
Michael Gomez's acting career began when he was a mere 17 years old. Gomez started his acting career landing roles in such films as the suspenseful adaptation "Rosemary's Baby" (1968) with Mia Farrow, the Burt Young drama "Uncle Joe Shannon" (1978) and the drama "The Border" (1981) with Jack Nicholson. He also appeared in "Zoot Suit" (1981) and "El Norte" (1984) with Ernesto Gomez Cruz. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Jeff Bridges crime thriller "The Big Lebowski" (1998), "Dance With Me" (1998) with Vanessa Williams and the Evelina Fernández comedic drama "Luminarias" (2000). Gomez had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "Delta Farce" (2007) starring Larry the Cable Guy, "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (2008) and "Yes Man" (2008) starring Jim Carrey. His credits also expanded to "The Burning Plain" (2009) starring Charlize Theron and the Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds hit "The Proposal" (2009)Most recently, Gomez worked on "Planes" (2013).
