Biography
John Brown was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Brown marked his early career with roles in "The Horn Blows at Midnight" (1945) with Jack Benny, "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show" (CBS, 1950-58) and "Strangers On a Train" (1951) with Farley Granger. Brown began to focus on film after appearing in the western "Three Desperate Men" (1951) with Preston Foster, "Hans Christian Andersen" (1952) with Danny Kaye and the Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch biopic "Crazylegs" (1953). He also appeared in "The Bigamist" (1953). Later in his career, Brown acted in the drama "The Wild One" (1953) with Marlon Brando. Brown passed away in May 1957 at the age of 53.
