Synopsis

A roll of top secret British microfilm is found in the wreckage of a civilian airliner near Munich; Major Ellis of NATO security and investigator John Lane are assigned to the case. Suspicion falls on Burton, a scientist, but he is killed in a London cinema by his contact, who turns out to be a foreign surgeon, Dr. Lindt. Mrs. Lindt is seen in a park meeting Venner, another member of the Communist cell who holds a high position in the Foreign Office; and Venner is then fed false information, which he passes to Lindt. In turn, Lindt gives the information to Porter, a man he meets at a swimming pool. Lane and Ellis close in and, after a fight, arrest both Porter and Lindt.
