Biography

Jack May's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Jack May kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the crime picture "Solo For Sparrow" (1966) with Anthony Newlands, the Zero Mostel comedic adaptation "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (1966) and "How I Won the War" (1967) with Michael Crawford. He also appeared in the Peter O'Toole dramatic adaptation "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" (1969) and the Joan Crawford sci-fi motion picture "Trog" (1970). In the seventies, Jack May devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Seven Per-Cent Solution" (1976), "The Great Gundown" (1977) and "Pearl" (1978-79). He also worked on "Sammy's Super T-Shirt" (1978) starring Reggie Winch. During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "A Swarm in May" (1983), "The Bounty" (1984) with Mel Gibson and the historical feature "The Doctor and the Devils" (1985) with Timothy Dalton. He also appeared in the adventure "Hard Road" (1989) with Francesca Camillo. Jack May most recently acted in "Without Air" (1997).
