Sally O'Neil started her acting career at the age of 17. Biography

Sally O'Neil started her acting career at the age of 17. O'Neil kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "Sally, Irene and Mary" (1925), "Battling Butler" (1926) and "The Auction Block" (1926). She also appeared in "Slide, Kelly, Slide" (1927) and "Bachelor's Paradise" (1928). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the twenties, appearing in "The Battle of the Sexes" (1928), "Broadway Fever" (1929) and "Broadway Scandals" (1929). She also appeared in the adaptation "On With the Show" (1929) with Betty Compson. In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the Frank Fay musical "The Show of Shows" (1929), "Hold Everything" (1930) and "Ladies Must Love" (1933). She also appeared in "The Moth" (1934). O'Neil more recently acted in the Rose Hobart drama "Convention Girl" (1935). O'Neil passed away in June 1968 at the age of 60.
