Biography
John Jenkins worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Jenkins worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Loose Ends" (1975), "Patti Rocks" (1988) and "Pick of the Day" (Food Network, 1996-2000). He also contributed to "Taste" (Food Network, 1993-99), "The Cutting Edge" (1992) starring D.B. Sweeney and "This Old House" (1980-2015). In the nineties, Jenkins devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Princess and the Press" (PBS, 1997-98), "Africans in America -- America's Journey Through Slavery" (PBS, 1998-99) and "East Meets West With Ming Tsai" (Food Network, 1998-2000). He also worked on "Tamales World Tour" (Food Network, 1998-99). In the early 2000s, Jenkins lent his talents to projects like "The Rockefellers" (PBS, 2000-01), "Sex: Unknown" (PBS, 2001-02) and "Shadow Glories" with Marc Sandler (2001). His credits also expanded to "Target America" (PBS, 2001-02) and "Daughter From Danang" (2002). Jenkins most recently appeared on "The Magnificent Voyage of Christopher Columbus" (PBS, 2007-08).
