That Hamilton Woman (1941) -- (Movie Clip) Such Godlike Simplicity The flashback begins, introducing Sir William Hamilton (Alan Mowbray), the British ambassador to Naples, and a dazzling double entrance, first by portrait, of young Emma (Vivien Leigh), accompanied by her mother (Sara Allgood), in Alexander Korda's That Hamilton Woman, 1941, also starring Laurence Olivier.
Ghost Of Frankenstein (1942) -- (Movie Clip) Are You A Giant? Crafty Ygor (Bela Lugosi) and the revived monster (Lon Chaney Jr.) have gotten separated in the town where they’ve come to see the son of Baron Frankenstein, leading to an encounter with young Cloestine (Janet Ann Gallow) and her father (Olaf Hytten), in Universal’s third sequel, The Ghost Of Frankenstein, 1942.
Christmas In Connecticut (1945) -- (Movie Clip) Your Christmas Menu Publisher Yardley (Sydney Greenstreet) insists that housewife-columnist Elizabeth (Barbara Stanwyck), who isn't married and can't cook, entertain a war hero at her fictional farmhouse for the holiday in Christmas in Connecticut, 1945.
Happiness Ahead (1934) -- (Movie Clip) Title Tune, Opening Director Mervyn LeRoy leaps in with leading man Dick Powell and the title tune by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal, then the always handy First National/Warner Bros. style character credits, and a clever segue to Olaf Hytten as the butler, Ruth Donnelly a maid and Allen Jenkins the chauffeur, in Happiness Ahead, 1934.
Confidential Agent (1945) -- (Movie Clip) Pretty Girl Like You Opening of the spy drama based on Graham Greene's novel, introducing Denard (Charles Boyer), Rose (Lauren Bacall, in her third film but the second released), a hapless suitor (Olaf Hytten) and Licata (Victor Francen), in Confidential Agent, 1945, directed by Broadway producer Herman Shumlin.
