Biography
Bill Hale was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hale began his career with roles in the George Montgomery western "Battle of Rogue River" (1954), the Bill Williams western "Apache Ambush" (1955) and the Elizabeth Taylor dramatic adaptation "Giant" (1956). Hale next focused his career on film, appearing in "The First Traveling Saleslady" (1956) with Ginger Rogers, "Cattle Empire" (1958) with Joel McCrea and the action flick "Airborne" (1962) with Bobby Diamond. He also appeared in "Coming Home" (1978) with Jane Fonda. Later in his career, Hale worked on the Jack Palance horror flick "Alone in the Dark" (1982).
