Alfred Adam was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Adam landed roles in various films, including the crime adaptation "Beauty Up His Sleeve" (1958) with Henri Vidal, the period drama "The Witches of Salem" (1958) with Simone Signoret and the Bourvil comedy "All the Gold In the World" (1961). Alfred Adam was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Adam landed roles in various films, including the crime adaptation "Beauty Up His Sleeve" (1958) with Henri Vidal, the period drama "The Witches of Salem" (1958) with Simone Signoret and the Bourvil comedy "All the Gold In the World" (1961). He also appeared in the comedy "La Belle Americaine" (1961) with Robert Dhery. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Days With Jean-Marc" (1964) with Marie-Jose Nat, "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Nights with Francoise" (1964) with Jacques Charrier and "Maigret A Pigalle" (1966). He also appeared in "The Stranger" (1967) with Marcello Mastroianni. In the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the Annie Girardot comedy "Juliette et Juliette" (1973), the Annie Girardot comedy "Ursule et Grelu" (1973) and the dramatic period piece "Que la fete commence..." (1975) with Philippe Noiret. He also appeared in "Le Chasseur de Chez Maxim's" (1977). Adam more recently acted in "Nous maigrirons ensemble" (1979). Adam passed away in May 1982 at the age of 74.
