Synopsis
Historical tale of the Regency during the early 18th century, before Louis XIV's son comes of age. The Regent, Philippe D'Orleans, is well-intentioned, but nonetheless several small noblemen in Brittany decide to revolt against the economic misery of the times. The Regent's right hand, a cynical priest, uses this local uprising as a pretext to enlist the aid of Britain against Spain.
