Biography
Edward Cooper was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Cooper began his career with roles in the Ruth Chatterton drama "Female" (1933) and the drama "The Adopted Father" (1933) with George Arliss. Cooper began to focus on film after appearing in "Clive of India" (1935), "To Mary - With Love" (1936) and the Dick Powell musical comedy "On the Avenue" (1937). He also appeared in the Paulette Goddard dramatic period piece "Kitty" (1946). Cooper was most recently credited in "Harlem Nights" (1989) with Eddie Murphy. Cooper passed away in July 1956 at the age of 73.
