Georges Chamarat was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Chamarat started off his career in film with roles in "Diabolique" (1955) with Simone Signoret, "The Wild Oat" (1956) and "Julietta" (1957) with Jean Marais. Chamarat made film his next project, appearing in the historical drama "Royal Affairs in Versailles" (1957) with Claudette Colbert, the Charles Azanavour drama "Tomorrow Is My Turn" (1962) and the crime drama "La Metamorphose des cloportes" (1965) with Lino Ventura. He also appeared in the Cliff Robertson action movie "Up From the Beach" (1965). Later in his career, Chamarat acted in "La Raison d'etat" (1978).
