Synopsis
Betty, whose father is serving a prison term for theft, escapes from a reform school and rejoins her lover, Frédéric, a writer for a risqué magazine in Paris. In order to remain free, she becomes a police informer, meanwhile pursuing a life of luxury. The couple learn that Betty's father has hidden stolen diamonds worth a fortune, and with the help of Jeannot, they retrieve the jewels. When her father's friend Parola demands the diamonds, Betty has him arrested. The couple flees with the loot, pursued by Jeannot, who shoots Freédéric. The police arrive, and Betty is apprehended.
