Biography
Richard Strauss worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Strauss worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968), "Being There" (1979) and "Bluff Stop" (1977). He also contributed to "La Guerre d'un seul homme" with Peter Chatel (1982), "The Island" (1980) starring Brad Sullivan and "The Sky On Location" (1982). Strauss was also credited in "Wild At Heart" (1990) starring Nicolas Cage, "This Is My Life" with Julie Kavner (1992) and "The Accompanist" (1993) starring Richard Bohringer. He also was recognized in "Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould" with Colm Feore (1994). Strauss was most recently credited in the Jack O'Connell smash hit dramatic adaptation "Unbroken" (2014). Strauss passed away in September 1949 at the age of 85.
