Eskimo (1933) -- (Movie Clip) Walrus Hunt Little adherence to the story, plus cruel slaughter, but some of the best, legitimate Northern Alaska on-location shooting, directed by W.S. Van Dyke and photographed by Clyde De Vinna, George Gordon Nogle, Leonard Smith and Josiah Roberts for MGM, plus some odd process shots, in the first picture ever to win a Best Film Editing Academy Award, Eskimo, 1933.
Ship Ahoy (1942) -- (Movie Clip) I'll Take Tallulah Like many Eleanor Powell numbers, another suggesting she was the best dancer of her generation, devised by Billy Connolly, Bert Lahr and Red Skelton warbling, Tommy Dorsey's band, song by Burton Lane and Yip Harburg, clever bit for drummer Buddy Rich, in Ship Ahoy, 1942.

Marie Antoinette (1938) -- (Movie Clip) I Shall Be Queen By a mile the largest thing W.S. ("One-Take Woody) Van Dyke II ever directed, Norma Shearer in the title role nothing but charming, Cecil Cunningham her aide "Feldy," Alma Kruger her mother the Austrian empress, ambassador Henry Stephenson making a bow, opening MGM's lavish Marie Antoinette, 1938, co-starring Tyrone Power.

Doughboys (1930) -- (Movie Clip) I Want My Mama A rare vocal by Buster Keaton, with “Ukelele Ike” Cliff Edwards, who became a lifelong pal after this picture, reeling off an un-credited vaudeville tune, which they often did between takes, chilling in the barracks, in Keaton’s second MGM talkie, Doughboys, 1930.
Doughboys (1930) -- (Movie Clip) You Rolls Royces Once you adjust to Buster Keaton speaking, this is his second of two attempts, as blue-blood "Elmer Stuyvesant," to woo shopgirl Mary (Sally Eilers), his servant Gustave (Arnold Korff) standing by as the chauffeur enlists for the war, in Keaton's second talkie for MGM, Doughboys, 1930.
