Russ Powell was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Powell started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Head Over Heels" (1922), "Vamping Venus" (1928) and "The Big Trail" (1930). He also appeared in the romance "Zoo in Budapest" (1933) with Loretta Young and "The Call of the Savage" (1935) with Noah Beery Jr.. He kept working in film throughout the thirties and the eighties, starring in the adventure "The Call of the Wild" (1935) with Clark Gable, the western "Hit the Saddle" (1937) with Robert Livingston and the drama "The Wrong Road" (1937) with Richard Cromwell. Powell was most recently credited in "Heaven Will Protect A Woiking Goil" (2011). Powell passed away in November 1950 at the age of 75.
