Actor Richard Penn appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Penn worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Born Yesterday" (1993) starring Melanie Griffith, "Drop-Out Father" (CBS, 1982-83) and "Gross Anatomy" (1989). He also contributed to "Oh Madeline" (ABC, 1983-84), "Supercop" with Jackie Chan (1992) and "The Operation" (CBS, 1989-1990). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the action flick "Volcano" (1997) with Tommy Lee Jones, the Eddie Murphy blockbuster fantastical comedy "Dr. Dolittle" (1998) and the dramedy "Playing By Heart" (1998) with Gillian Anderson. He also appeared in "Inspector Gadget" (1999) starring Matthew Broderick. In the early 2000s, Penn lent his talents to projects like "Narc" with Ray Liotta (2002), "Undercover Brother" (2002) and "The Last Shot" with Matthew Broderick (2004). His credits also expanded to "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" (2005) starring Kimberly Elise and "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006) starring Tyler Perry.
