Biography
Jack Overman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Overman kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Otto Kruger horror movie "Jungle Captive" (1945), "The Missing Lady" (1946) and the drama "Brute Force" (1947) with Burt Lancaster. He also appeared in the thriller "The Brasher Doubloon" (1947) with George Montgomery. His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "Assigned to Danger" (1948), "Force of Evil" (1948) and "T-Men" (1948) with Dennis O'Keefe. He also appeared in the Alan Ladd crime picture "Chicago Deadline" (1949). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Flaxy Martin" (1949), "The Lone Wolf and His Lady" (1949) and "The Good Humor Man" (1950). Overman more recently acted in the John Wayne drama "Jet Pilot" (1957).
