Biography
Jack Newman was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Newman started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Cocktail" (1988) with Tom Cruise, the Kiefer Sutherland action flick "Renegades" (1989) and the Tony Curtis comedy sequel "Walter og Carlo i New York" (1989). He also appeared in "Sam & Me" (1991) and "FX2 - The Deadly Art of Illusion" (1991). He also appeared in the TV movie "Many Happy Returns" (CBS, 1986-87). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Guilty As Sin" (1993) with Rebecca De Mornay and the Tim Allen blockbuster comedy adventure "The Santa Clause" (1994). He also starred in the TV movies "Teamster Boss: The Jackie Presser Story" (HBO, 1992-93) and "Partners 'n Love" (Bell Media, 1992-93). More recently, he continued to act in "Tigerland" (2000), the comedic fantasy "Down to Earth" (2001) with Chris Rock and the Lindsay Lohan comedy "Mean Girls" (2004). He also appeared in the mystery thriller "Hollywoodland" (2006) with Adrien Brody. Newman most recently acted in "Jesus Henry Christ" (2012) with Toni Collette.
