Synopsis
In the early 1960s, best friends Holly and Ruby leave their small town and move to Chicago to pursue their dreams. When their funds run low, they decide to try out as Playboy Bunnies at the newly opened Playboy Club. They meet Miranda, the "Bunny Mother," whose job it is to mold them into Bunny material, and Thelma, the costumer. But things take a serious turn when Holly begins to outshine the self-confident Ruby. Their loyalty to one another is tested further when Ruby, involved in a heavy affair with wealthy patron James, begins to fall apart emotionally, jeopardizing her job at the club, just as Holly's star is rising.
