Synopsis

Santa is stricken with amnesia after falling out of his sleigh two days before Christmas. Max, the head elf of Santa's workshop, is charged with finding the missing Santa, who has fallen on the hood of a car belong to cynical television news reporter Peter Albright. Peter thinks he's hit a homeless and nameless old man -- and he smells the perfect "feel good" story for his news broadcast. He gets him a job as a department store Santa -- thanks to the help of girlfriend Claire -- and launches a citywide television search to reunite the man with his family. But Claire's son Zack suspects that the old man may be exactly who he's been hired to be.
