Biography
Albert Lieven was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Lieven's career beginnings included film roles in "Beware of Pity" (1946), "Frieda" (1947) and "The Devil's General" (1957) with Curt Jurgens. Lieven then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Subway in the Sky" (1959) with Van Johnson, the dramatic adaptation "The House of Intrigue" (1959) with Curt Jurgens and "Die Schachnovelle" (1960). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Guns of Navarone" (1961) with Gregory Peck and the action film "The Victors" (1963) with George Hamilton. Lieven was most recently credited in the Horst Tappert crime picture "Der Gorilla Von Soho" (1972). Lieven was married to Susan Shaw. Lieven passed away in December 1971 at the age of 65.
