Synopsis

QUEEN SABINA: While hitchhiking home from the beach, Sabina arouses two motorists, who attempt to rape her. Rescued from the second assault by Gianni, a third driver, she finds herself becoming increasingly stimulated. Finally overcome by passion, Sabina chases Gianni through the woods. QUEEN ARMENIA: Armenia, a young gypsy woman who lives in a room with a juke box, uses friends' babies in various ways to make money. At first her advances to pediatrician Dr. Aldini are rebuffed, but when he succumbs and eventually becomes enamored of her, Armenia runs away with a truck driver. QUEEN ELENA: While her husband, Alberto, naps in the garden, Elena seduces Luigi, a handsome neighbor. Amazed at the ease with which the dalliance has been conducted, Luigi returns home to his wife, Claudia, who is calmly making love with one of their male friends. QUEEN MARTA: At a house party, Marta, a society woman, gets drunk and seduces Giovanni, a butler hired for the occasion. When Giovanni is hired by Marta's husband as a chauffeur the following morning, she appears to have no recollection of the previous evening. The servant still anticipates many evenings alone with his mistress, but after another passionate evening together, Marta again claims no knowledge of the affair and reacts angrily to Giovanni's further advances. Finally aware of the convenient games her memory plays, Giovanni decides to follow her lead and be aloof, confident that another drunken evening will soon occur.
