Starting Lucari's entertainment career producing for the silver screen, Lucari's early credits included the comedy adaptation "Black Soul" (1962) with Vittorio Gassman, the comedy "Le Bambole" (1965) with Virna Lisi and "Made in Italy" (1965). Lucari also appeared in "Anyone Can Play" (1968) and "Wanted" (1968) with Giuliano Gemma. Lucari continued to focus on film through the seventies, producing movies like the Massimo Ranieri drama "Metello" (1970), the Alberto Sordi comedy "Bello Onesto Emigrato Australia Sposerebbe Compaesan Illibata" (1971) and "Detenuto in Attesa di Giudizio" (1971). Lucari also appeared in the crime picture "Anastasia mio fratello ovvero il presunto capo dell'aninima assassini" (1973) with Alberto Sordi. Lucari then focused on film, producing "Sistemo L'America E Torno" (1974) with Paolo Villaggio, "Caro Michele" (1976) with Mariangela Melato and the drama "The Inheritance" (1976) with Anthony Quinn. Lucari also appeared in the Ugo Tognazzi comedy "Dove vai in vacanza?" (1978). Most recently, Lucari produced the Dominique Sanda dramatic adaptation "The Garden of the Finzi-Continis" (1996).
