Synopsis

THE SCANDAL: Francesco, an unresponsive and boring husband, brings his wife Raffaella to a resort for a vacation. There, a handsome young man, Ronald, is attracted to her. Francesco, in an unusual display of vitality, becomes jealous and has a fight with Ronald. SIN IN THE AFTERNOON: Giulio, a young film producer who is unhappy over his wife's refusal to make physical contact with him, spots the stunning Laura in the street and follows her. The strangers meet and spend the night together in a motel. THE VICTIM: Paolo's wife, Gloria, while very attractive, is also very jealous. For Paolo at least, their life together becomes unbearable, and he deserts her. Gloria goes to confide in Tonino, Paolo's friend, but decides instead to take revenge on her husband by becoming Tonino's mistress. MODERN PEOPLE: Cesare, a wealthy cheese manufacturer, has considerable gambling debts. His biggest creditor, Reguzzoni, agrees to forego the debt if Cesare will allow him to sleep with his beautiful wife, Tebaide. Cesare must now persuade Tebaide to agree to this arrangement.
