Synopsis

Travis Child is an aspiring country singer who plays in small clubs as he travels across the country with his younger sister Amanda who is his manager. Since Travis tends to drink too much and get involved with the wrong women, Amanda frequently has to get him out of trouble. While they are staying in a small Georgia town, Travis gets on the wrong side of the tough local sheriff Seth Ames, and is put in jail. Amanda gets the bail money, and Travis is released, but on the condition that he works as a bartender in a local club to repay the debt. While he is working there, Travis falls for a woman named Melody and they begin to see each other, then he finds out that she has a boyfriend, Seth Ames.
