Actor Danny Nelson was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Nelson started his entertainment career by acting in comedies like "Greased Lightning" (1977) and "Tank" (1984) with James Garner and Shirley Jones. He also was featured in the miniseries "Freedom Road" (1979-1980) and "Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones" (1979-1980). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the John Saxon horror film "Blood Salvage" (1990), "Career Opportunities" (1991) with Frank Whaley and "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" (1991). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Fried Green Tomatoes" (1991) with Kathy Bates. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic comedy "Raney" (1997) with Jennifer Hanson, the crime feature "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997) with Kevin Spacey and "Forces of Nature" (1999) with Sandra Bullock. He also appeared in the Will Smith dramatic adaptation "The Legend of Bagger Vance" (2000). Nelson most recently acted in the thriller "False River" (2009) with Salvator Xuereb.
