Synopsis
It is 4 a.m. at an all-night diner and three people are still in the restaurant. The cook Jim chats with a customer while a man drinks coffee a few stools away. The talkative customer explains he feels smothered by his girlfriend who does not understand why he would want to go to a diner in the middle of the night. As he chatters away, a woman walks in and they lock eyes for a moment. In an effort to spark a flame, Jim and the other male customer try to rally him to get up the courage to speak to her.
