Synopsis
Thad Dickery, the younger brother of Bram Dickery, falls into the clutches of Lee Wing when he is discovered aboard a ship that harbors smuggled Chinese. The ship is owned by Captain Goodell, the father of Bram's sweetheart, Emily. When Bram discovers that his brother has been stabbed by the smugglers, he vengefully attacks Lee Wing and his confederate, causing the drowning of the former. Relieved that Emily is not involved in the conspiracy, he rushes Thad to the mainland, where he is treated for his wounds. Bram is subsequently reunited with his sweetheart.
